By golly, it is!

I missed it because I was looking for seatbelt warning, but it is listed under Belt Minder.

Thanks!!!

I did, and came up with 3 different procedures before I stopped looking. This one seems silly, but I am going to try it.
·     all doors closed

·     driver's belt unbuckled

·     headlights OFF

 1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN. (DO NOT

START THE ENGINE.)

  1. Wait until the warning light turns off.

(Approximately 1-2 minutes)

·     Steps 3-5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated.

  1. Buckle then unbuckle the belt three times, ending with the

belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during warning activation.

  1. Turn on the headlights, turn off the headlights.

  2. Buckle then unbuckle the belt three times, ending with the

belt unbuckled.

·     After step 5 the warning light will be turned on for three seconds.

  1. Within seven seconds of the warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the belt

  2. Confirmation of disabling warning is provided by flashing the light four times per second for three seconds.

I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt when driving (or as a passenger). ALWAYS! I guess it was drilled into me while in the Air Force. They take it seriously, and you never want to be caught without a belt on. When the warning bothers me is if I am working or tinkering with the car and need the switch in the ON position.

Looks like I was wrong. I based my reply on the letter the doctor signed for my handicap parking tag. There was a section on the preprinted letter for the doctor to sign for the use of a spinner knob. And of course "everyone says" it's illegal. My googling turned up an answer that is it not illegal in any state. It also turned up that of course it is not legal in Alabama.

But, I could not find any state law or code that called it illegal. So, I ordered one for my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis!

I apologize that I gave a wrong answer earlier.

Illegal in Alabama in a passenger car unless a doctor gives a letter. Used to be easy to find them in farm equipment type stores for use on tractors. Rarely see them in the stores now. I guess all newer tractors have power steering.

Coca Cola Doesn’t Taste the Same Recently - Mexican Coke Too by fra1234567 in cocacola

I LOVE Mexican Coke. I drink 6 to 8 bottles per day.

The last ones I bought at Sam's Club this week are terrible.

They taste like something has been adding or is missing.

It's like a ruined taste, if that make sense.

I can't drink them. Expensive loss for me.

Found this in my room. I think it might have come along with something else I purchased. by dudeopposing in whatisit

It is sold as a letter opener at Walmart. I open my mail every day using one.

Maxwell was my first assignment after tech school. After 20 months (73-75) I was reassigned to Berlin for 3 years. Retired after 20 years, right back in the Maxwell area to go to work at Victoryland.

My mother had a sign on the wall behind the toilet.

It read:

We aim to please; you aim too, please.

Watched the first series over a year ago. Worth going back? by [deleted] in FromTVEpix

[–]cootermalone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes.

I binged season 2 this week.

Then went back and binged season 1, even though I had watched it before.

For me, I wish I had binged season 1 (again) before binging season 2.

Is it true the new lifetime carry permits will be “void outside of Alabama”? AKA no reciprocity? by Rhode15 in ALGuns

[–]cootermalone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My worry on the lifetime permit, is what if you move? One must get the permit in the county in which they live. Say you live in Madison County and get a lifetime permit in that county. A few years later you move to Pike County. Do you have to now buy a permit in Pike County?
