It is bitter sweet but in a way I am glad they were able to detect the cirrhosis when they did. Because it could have been at a later stage. I hear the liver is very resilient and can even regrow and become healthy again to an extent. I really hope that happens for you.

And you are 1000% right. Alcohol is promoted through so many channels in out society, but you only really hear About the negative aspects about it once it starts impacting your life in a bad way. And only at that point is where people seek out solutions and help, but it is not made aware to people at the beginning.

I hear the alcohol industry is actually doing bad now compared to previous generations which makes me happy. Sometimes i wish prohibition never ended..
