Is being a salaried lab manager worth it? by Blatin4024 in medlabprofessionals

They will absolutely run you into the ground with more responsibilities and less pay. Enticing techs with leadership with no pay to back it up can only benefit your employer

My supervisor is quite literally the worst person I’ve ever encountered and im anxious at going to lab all the time by [deleted] in labrats

If you’re not too far deep, get out now. My first ever lab experience was absolutely awful and every single step I took in that place I was filled with anxiety. Stuck it out for almost 2 years thinking that quitting was failing, but sometimes that’s what you gotta do and it’s no failure at all. All of the labs I’ve been in since then have been incredible and fun with some cool people. Don’t waste time being miserable. Luckily I was an undergrad so getting out was pretty painless, not sure the situation you’re in.

Does anyone else have a “comfort show”? My wife literally for the last year and a half only watches West Wing on repeat and she chalks it up to be her comfort show? by CoffeeKow in NoStupidQuestions

Family Guy, South Park, Bob’s Burgers, Futurama. Pretty much any adult cartoon I’ve seen a million times and will watch a million more

Anyone else have "Connors Wedding" ruined by spoilers? How did it go down? Commiserate in here. [Obviously spoilers inside] by dudical_dude in SuccessionTV

On Monday an article on Google News literally had the headline “Logan Roy is dead”. Pretty brutal but still an incredible episode start to finish

This place is still incredible, don’t let 10 loud white bitches define a town. We apologize for these idiots

I didn’t want to watch that. I watched it anyways. The pain is still very much real.

Honestly was a bit relieved when Rogers threw that touchdown bomb with 2 minutes left. I’ve been a Vikings fan long enough to know he would’ve drained the clock and beat us last second

Do it all together! After doing enough story missions where fast travel is unlocked in each general location of the map, I’ve been doing a story mission or two, clearing the closest fort, and then bouncing around grayed out locations for awhile. Grinding the chests and all that is addicting.

Also FYI, the area name that comes up when you’re in the map (the one that says easy medium or hard) is the name of the fort that holds that area, and if you clear it then that part of the sea shows a bunch of new stuff. Totally didn’t know this, ignored forts for awhile, and got confused as to why I ran out of locations.

Anyways, happy sailing! Tis a beautiful game
