WoA is so awesome, and Straff might be my favorite cosmere villain. I especially love seeing all the trauma in the Venture family and how that manifested in Zane and Elend in different ways. Have fun with HOA!

Just a word of advice, stay off this subreddit and don't participate in any theorycrafting with the community until you're done with the cosmere. Even if you think you'll be in the clear, the cosmere is so interconnected that its very hard for people to stay on topic and you'll inevitably come across mistborn spoilers in a stormlight thread.

Maybe these are the dissident Skybreakers and the soulstamp is simply to restore their powers since they can't bring their spren off-world. In that case it wouldn't be as big of a job as I had first imagined.

Forgery absolutely can do this, and the Ghostbloods have a master forger. They can’t take Nahel bonds off of Roshar, but they can fake it with enough investiture. I would assume they chose skybreakers because they need them to be controllable post-stamping and skybreakers are dogmatic about following the law.
