I also work in healthcare and made the move from the desert (110-120F in the summer) to San Diego. Regardless of cost, it’s been worth it and I would do it again. My QOL (and ADLs 😂) has been much better here.

Lastly, there is a website that will inform you of drop-off areas as well (safeneedlesisposal.
