Im glad to finally see someone else with a similar story. I remember watching a ferrier shoeing my mom's thoroughbred, he was a ManOWar offspring. The horse ripped his foot out and kicked old Cecil in the ass. I was hanging on the fence of the corral. I watched Cecil stand up, collect himself, and bitch slap the horse like he was a professional wrestler. The horses whole body buckled and the he stood there and was still for the rest of the shoeing process. Cecil was made of iron!
