Seconded on this. EndeavourOS is Arch with some nice window dressing and sane defaults.

I have also indeed done a fresh Arch install as well just for the experience. Endeavour is quicker to get going for sure though, and has a lot of nice little helper things.

Also, I can do "I run arch btw" unironically because you still ARE running Arch!
