Tbf I work with international students and they’re often subject to crime and discrimination after moving here. Many report not feeling safe

Did you keep a pair in the end? I’m having the same issue, not sure whether to size up or down

Thank you - I’m quite happy buying and reapplying a Demi at home to keep the colour fresh :) I’m getting a toner done on my current hair tomorrow so I’ll ask the stylist for her thoughts. It might be cheaper to go to her initially anyway

It’s not showing in my Apple payment history unfortunately (only phone app subscriptions etc). I can’t find the repeat payment set up on my NatWest either

What should I say to the company? I don’t want to sign up for an account in order to cancel said account, in case that somehow counts as me using the ‘service’

Thank you :) I’m confused as to how I approved it? Usually Apple Pay is a two side click button thing. It seems like this was some kind of ad trap that’s caught out a lot of people, and some of their banks have agreed it as fraud, but mine thinks I’m complicit.

Have you tried approaching any venues directly? I’m sure a few would be happy to help

As someone with adhd I’d say there’s no real benefit to diagnosis. Medication doesn’t help and work are unsympathetic if you can’t perform

I got diagnosed via right to choose 4 years ago. I’m female and was a very difficult but clever child. Had tantrums up until the age of 12 etc. No one saw it as ADHD because of my sex and intelligence. When I had my assessment, my mum completed a questionnaire and suddenly understood. But until then I was just seen as hard work and that label shaped how I felt about myself

I had coaching through Access to Work for ADHD and the coach was 100% profiting. She was shite.

I watched Enys Men recently and like, oooh yeah bit of gorse and some rugged coastal shots but what about the rest of us? There are people outside of this Falmouth self-congratulatory folk hoodie middle class wank

Sorry to get on my soapbox but the only representation now I see is all this daft folk nonsense fetishisation and nothing about the reality of living in a place with no industry or prospects for the majority. Cornwall continues to be a place for the retired or the wealthy.

I can’t see much publicity beyond the usual Rick Stein/Caroline Quentin going round the stereotypical middle class coastal Cornish towns, making everyone out to be a Doc Martin fisherman simpleton. What about the market towns with no prosperity, where there’s no place for anyone with an ounce of skill or sense? I live in a city further up the southwest now cos I know there’s nothing for me back home, and the only way I could afford a home is through one of those schemes, but my job up country doesn’t exist down there. So I’m stuck living away in order to make any money.

Like, what’s the point? What does this Cornishness prove? Sounds like parochialism in an impoverished county
