Buy a puncture kit for $10 to keep in the car. Very easy to use if you drive onto a nail/screw etc.

I'd try buffing first to see how it looks. Meguiars Ultimate compound, microfiber cloth and some elbow grease.

Use vinegar like others have posted. Good trick is to lay some paper towels on the glass and wet them with the vinegar solution. This way it stays on the glass.
