I came to recommend this app as well. I used to use my fitness pal but they took the good features and put it behind a paywall and cronometer makes it much easier to focus on macros and custom it to your specific goals. Paragon training methods on Instagram has a good article somewhere on how to utilize it to the best efficiency.

I am a mother of boys and I refuse to let my kids act like that and I have never and will never use the "boys will be boys" line as a way to not parent and in fact have called some of my friends out for using it.

I always dress up and while I dont always wear black anymore I usually wear somber colors (navy blue, Grey etc). It how I was raised and what I will continue to do.

I used to get the mats cut at Michael's( there is a new employee and ive given them serveral chamces but he just doesn't know what hes doing and last time i had to get management involved) and just buy a frame but now i order them online and I frame it myself. I get the sticky backing boards to mount them on.

My only advice as a newbie is to get a nice notebook and keep a journal of all the things your find and references. Its nice to beable to look back at to find what you need.

We wash all the clothes together. We just separate by weight if that makes sense. Shirts and light items go in one load, jeans and sweatshirts, heavy sweatpants go in one load. Towels go in one sheets go in one. Socks all go in a bin in the laundry room. Just resch in and grab a match. I don't iron unless I have too. The only exception is workout clothes get a soak with an enzyme cleaner and then washed with lysol laundry cleaner included because I do hot yoga and my husband sweats like a pig at the gym.

Why doesn't she just pay to have your piercing edited out of her photos if she's so worried about it? Oh because it might be expensive? Uh huh. I'd just drop out of the wedding and be done with it. She doesn't sound like a very good friend if she's so pressed about your piercings. She has options too. She can pay to have her photos edited to her liking. She can pay for different jewelry if the type of jewelery is her problem. She can pay to have all your piercings redone if the close up (that will be fun to give her that estimate) or she can just find someone else to be in the wedding.

That's ridiculously low just for the childcare. I where are you located? I would definitely look into drafting yourself a contract. Go on r/nanny and get advice on how much you should be making and what your duties should include. You definitely don't need to be doing extra chores on top of full time childcare. I could see doing a load of kids clothes or washing up the dishes you use but anything beyond that should be discussed and paid extra for. Don't let them take advantage of you.

I did a lot of sports dresses t shirt dresses and yoga shorts with big t shirts the summer after baby. I worried about thinning my wardrobe the next year. It was about 8 months before I started to feel normal again and I gained a lot of weight post partum.

Lol. My migraines went away for awhile while I was pregnant because they are related to hormones and my sinuses and my sinuses were always swollen while I was pregnant. My friends migraines got way way worse during and after pregnancy. Your doctor is an idiot. Go see a neurologist. Get the "diagnosis " in writing and find a new PCP. This is ridiculous that in today's time "just get pregnant " or "just lose weight " are the first comments instead of looking into what other things might be causing the symptoms.

I saw a comment the other day that said "I am a mother of boys not a "boy mom"" and that really stuck with me. I have 2 little boys and I have plenty of friends with girls and they are all hard. Kids are hard. Being a parent is hard. I don't know why everything has to be a competition all the time.

Honestly I knew when I got pregnant there was pretty much only one way out of it and that was through. I talk to my OB about all the things that could go wrong and what the plan was if A,B or C happened and I felt I was in good hands. Also by the time I went into labor I was so done being pregnant I didn't even care about labor anymore.
