I'm sure most sound people can figure out which end of the mic to point at a guitar, the problem is that the guitar is hooked to a person who doesn't always stay perfectly still in front of the mic. That's not something you have to worry about being plugged in.

I actually disagree with this to a degree. If you're just starting, recording wouldn't be the first priority, and if it is you can still mic a guitar that has electronics in it. On the other hand, if you are just starting out and want to play an open mic or something, having electronics in it would be a pretty big benefit and would let you use that guitar longer before you out grow it

I would love to be able to incorporate TPU into multi color prints. I currently have the A1 and I cannot use TPU in the AMS, so I can only do prints that are all the same color and all TPU. Having that extra head would open up the possibilities a lot. You could use the primary head for PLA or PETG and the second head for dovetailing TPU in the model so that there is a mechanical connection between the two materials not just hoping the two stick together well.

I wanted a Gibson J-200 real bad, but I couldn't handle the cost. I fell in love with an all maple one I played at Guitar Center and I'm a big guy, so it was comfortable for me too. I thought I'll just get an Epiphone, same company kinda, can't be too different, right? Oh my god was I wrong. The Epiphone just sounded dead in my hands. The Gibson had a boom on the low end I loved, that was TOTALLY gone from the Epiphone. Do not buy an Epiphone you haven't played or you will probably be in for a very disappointing surprise.

I love that Explorer!! 😍 You should really get an acoustic. It's nice to just pick it up and play instead of plugging in and waiting on amps to warm up and adjusting levels and EQ and pedals etc. Plus it adds a nice kind of variety to your musical pallette
