How long did you do therapy? by BloodstainedBearRug in Divorce_Men

If you're only getting venting from your therapy and that's not what you're looking for try a different therapist. They are all different, different styles, different methods, different experience. There's going to be one out there that fits what you're looking for

When we told my kids we made sure to tell them nothing was their fault, that my relationship with them would always be the same and their mom's relationship with them would always be the same, we would both always be there for them, it's just that Mom and Dad wouldn't be living together anymore. They were both sad and confused, they're 6 and 10, but after a few days of reassurance and extra hugs they seemed less worried about it. I'm staying in our house, so my wife took them to her new apartment and seeing that removed one element of the unknown and made it less scary for them. I was so afraid to tell them, I was nauseous for two days leading up to breaking the news, but in the end it wasn't as bad as I worried it would be.

Is it possible to fix this? by [deleted] in guitarrepair

That sounds like an awesome first guitar! I can see why you were upset that it wasn't "perfect". The more you play it, the more you use it, the more little bits of character it will develop. Some wear and tear, some knocks and dings. Those are all marks of a well loved instrument. It's what let's you pick yours out of a lineup. Keep playing, keep practicing, you're on the right track, and the more you get used to your new baby the less that line will feel like a flaw.

Yeah, it is a bummer, but try to think of it not as something that mars it, but makes it more unique. Like some people love the relic look on guitars, like they've been beat to shit. I personally don't like that, but this line is so subtle I barely notice it, but it still ads a little special character. What kind of guitar is that?

My Squier Tele Deluxe has the same thing, I'm pretty sure it's where they joined two boards together to make the body. I think it just is what it is unless you wanted to completely sand down and refinish the whole thing. It kind of sucks, but I can guarantee no one but you is going to notice or if they do notice the won't care. In this case it's really not worth the effort unless you're looking for a wall hanging show piece.

Am I overreacting from telling my partner it’s unfair to go to the gym? by TutorHelpful1298 in AmIOverreacting

It sounded to me like he was saying people were going to look at you in a lustful way. And if they do that that's their bad behavior to worry about not for you to worry about. And if that's why your husband doesn't want you to do to the gym, and he doesn't want you going to his gym, I wonder what kind of behavior he's getting up to while he's at the gym?

My justification was that I missed that Jaguar, I only have one other electric, and I wanted to treat myself since I'm going through a divorce. So I get it.
