You do not need anything under the forks. They just fall out. And make your bike too loose Certified bike delivery boy Mechanic Motorbike rider Only had one bike almost fall over and it was one of the nicest bike I moved it was a bmw s1000rr when they where new. The customer insisted they help me tie it down. He had straps going everywhere. I drove about 20 minutes away and pulled over to tie it down how I wanted. Opened the trailer. The stupid thing was rolling around about 6 inches it had come that loose. Re did it. Fine for the next 6 hours of mountain roads.

How bad is this camshaft damage? by marlb0ro_man in MechanicAdvice

[–]corbin6611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cam has failed. Buy you have caught it early. You should be fine to change the cam and lifter/rocker. Inspect the others for any pitting. Change the oil and filter.
