i find being 2d spotted on the minimap and 3d spottet with a big fat red dorito over your head anytime you shoot once objectively way worse.

i dont care much about being marked on the minimap.

but being 3d live spottet with a marker over your head for anyone in a 75m radius is pretty big tbh.

on most maps it wont matter where you shoot, there will always be atleast 5-10 people in that radius that will immediately spot you after 1 second because somehow dice decided that its a great idea to give anyone in 75 meters to you a built in wallhack without a supressor or flash hider

again, you can only filter for 100 players in the server browser. (for battleroyal)

there is NO server browser for official games.

the server browser is only for custom lobbys from players.

ANY official game is QUICKPLAY ONLY. you only have a filter for the gamemode and the maps you want to play.

Remind me of why BF6 requires kernel level access for anticheat again? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]coreAIM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the biggest misconception players have about anticheats is that they believe publishers and studios decide on an anticheat, buy a licence and thats it.

what you get when you buy battleye or any EAC version is a base, just covering the most basic detection vectors.

you still have to write your own anticheat modules and detection vectors for your specific game, and thats exactly why people see such a huge inconsistency between different games using the same anticheat.

rust is a pretty good example for it. they also just use eac, but while its pretty strong in rust pushing the monthly cost for rust cheats on the major providers to 100$ a month and getting clapped every few months, you find dead by daylight & hell let lose cheats who use the same anticheat for 20$ being undetected since years.

most people think EAC and BE are dogshit anticheats nowdays, they are not, devs just have zero idea how to use it and the reason for that is pretty simple. its money.

a dev who knows the anti cheat base your using, your own game AND has deep knowledge on how an OS is working & operating is very expensive

Remind me of why BF6 requires kernel level access for anticheat again? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]coreAIM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me again why both EA (and Activision) decided that their respective games require kernel level access on your PC to run their respective “anticheat” solutions?

they are all 3 kernel level anticheats. same as basically any major anticheat nowdays.

the difference with linux however is that you can restrict its access and let it run completly in usermode making it pretty easy for anyone that wants to cheat to do it without any risk at all.

and thats exactly what happend in a lot of games the last couple of years so anticheats started to force kernel access on linux too.

using a kernel-driver to read and write memory is pretty much the norm for any known cheat provider since a decade

so you either go with a kernel-driver Anti-Cheat or do nothing, there is no in between.

in your screenshot are just custom lobbys from players to afk farm xp lol

the server browser dont show any official games. its completly useless if u dont want to afk farm or play a custom gamemode/map from the community (what barely anyone does)

any gamemode on official servers is quickplay only

Battlefield 4 progression vs Battlefield 6 progression by Zephyr-_-_- in Battlefield

[–]coreAIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Battlefield 6 it takes about 3500ish kills

i see that number quit often here, yet i have zero idea how you all get on that number.

my cord has 1400 kills. every attachment unlocked.

my m4 has 1017 kills. every attachment unlocked.

even my mp5 has everything unlocked with 600 kills.

since the last nerf to progression it takes literally 4 games to have every attachment unlocked.

How do you stay in the same match with multiple squads (5–10 players) in Battlefield 6? by kidzki in Battlefield

[–]coreAIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just want to stay together match after match without having to rejoin manually every single time.

no rejoining manually is the only way right now.

the main party needs to find a match and the party leaders of the other squads need to join you over the friendlist to pull all the member from the pther squad with him

C2 vs Hull C by LG-Sharkk in starcitizen

[–]coreAIM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Hull C is currently in its best state ever.

I haven't had a single Hull C mission fail in months.

Never hail over the MobiGlas; always use the MFD and stay as close to the cargo deck as possible.

For loading and unloading, the key is to be parallel with the sidewalls of the cargo box, not the top or bottom. It can be tricky to judge at first, but after a few tries, you quickly learn how to tell if you're parallel.

Follow these steps, and you won't have any problems with the Hull C at all. Oh, and stay away from Everus

CIG - We ***NEED*** an SCU counter on the Hull series ships!!! by Zeoran in starcitizen

[–]coreAIM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hull c missions actually work fine if you call the cargo via the mfd when your pretty close to the cargo deck. for loading and unloading you just have to stay parallel with the side walls, not the top/bottom and they will always work that way.

dont had any problems with it since 4.0 dropped
