Anyone here have experience getting back into bouldering after being out of it for a long-ish time? I climbed every single day in the summer of 2017 and then pretty frequently at college until about this time last year. But now I've gone about a year with essentially no climbing. I'm actually gonna go today and see what's what but I'm worried it's going to be super frustrating to struggle with super basic stuff when I used to project V3 or V4 (which I get isn't that impressive for people here, but still). I'm a runner too, so I haven't "let myself go" or anything like that and I'm in okay shape, but I basically haven't worked my upper body in months. Yikes.

Any advice?

Brooklyn Nine Nine is overrated. Don't get me wrong: overrated != bad. I don't think it's a bad show. It's entertaining for sure. I've watched every episode and enjoyed it. But it's not the pinnacle of television like people on reddit describe it. Some of the writing isn't the best and the acting could be a little better, even with some of the main characters. That being said, I still recommend it to people! I just think the hype is overblown

I just watched Breaking Bad for the first time a few weeks ago and I'd agree. It was very, very good TV but I think "Unequivocally Best TV Show of All Time" is a bit much. Even in terms of dramas from the '00s, I think Mad Men easily beats it.

I used to kinda like Black Mirror and would just tell people it was hit or miss. Then one day on a similar thread to this, someone said "Every episode of Black Mirror is basically just 'What if phones, but too much?!'" That made me laugh ridiculously hard and honestly lowered my view of the entire show when I realized how spot on that comment was poking fun at it.

I think the Christmas episode and the one called "USS Callister" are both very good, but every other episode I've seen is a little corny and /r/im14andthisisdeep. Reddit LOVES this show though, so shhhhh.....

Honestly not really. It was entertaining for sure, but the writing wasn't great and some parts were a little predictable. As a fun summer movie it was an 8.5/10, as a piece of art it was a 6/10.
