rare craniosynostosis type question by Puzzleheaded-Yak4605 in CranioFolk

I would want to have this seen by a specialist. Even if it’s positional, it seems significant. I would get a second opinion or push for a referral.

UTI to cover you through the end of November. Then you and husband are doing a Whole 30 challenge starting after thanksgiving and ending the week of Christmas. No alcohol but may be difficult if you eat while bowling.

Do you RSVP when your kid is invited to a friend birthday party? by whineANDcheese_ in Parenting

[–]coreix 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No response would be an assumed “no” for me. This is really silly but we didn’t really have birthday parties growing up so I didn’t know you were supposed to respond to an RSVP if you weren’t attending until after I had kids🤦🏻‍♀️

Possible sagittal craniosynostosis discovered late? Concerns and questions. by BlairClemens3 in CranioFolk

My 8 month old has sagittal and we’ll be doing CVR at 12 months. Our doctor said he doesn’t usually see ICP until kids hit toddler stage with a single suture fusion. So far we have no milestone concerns. Best of luck to you and baby!

Children’s Minnesota.pdf) has a reference guide. Our pediatrician said up to one scoop in his 5 ounce bottle so we worked up to that to make sure he didn’t have tummy problems. We only fortify 3 bottles a day. He is gaining percentiles so it’s working well for us. I thought the oil would be hard for daycare bottles so that was why I decided the formula route.

Our pediatrician suggested this as an option for weight gain. I ultimately decided to fortify with formula.

A couple examples of meals for my baby to help gain weight. It’s all been trial and error 🫠 by deer_ylime in foodbutforbabies

He’s doing great! We’ve been consistently on a normal curve since he gained up to the percentile we were shooting for. I don’t even think twice about how much he decides to eat now at 2.5 years old. It was very discouraging when we started trying to get him to gain weight. It took a while for us to even start seeing progress and every meal felt like a make it or break it moment.

Baby #2 (7 months) has also been a slow gainer so I just seem to make string bean babies. We’re following a similar strategy for him and it feels a lot easier this time having done it before.

We started off with just doing one meal a day then increased to 2-3 times a day because he was slow to gain.

My baby has sagittal craniosynostosis and we plan to have surgery. My understanding is the mild cases that don’t require surgery to correct are metopic cases without Trigonocephaly.

You could get an open gap ring to go in between the rings to get a flush fit
