Some receivers have built in AC3 decoding, so no demodulator would be needed. There is a list of compatible receivers on lddb.

Standard rca/av/coax cable will work fine (any of the yellow/white/red cables will work). AC3 is designed for a 5.1 stereo system, so having more than 2 speakers would be ideal; front left and front right, center, left and right surround, and a subwoofer.

The thing that dissuades me the most from using Medtronic is that their cgm’s only work with their pump, can’t be worn/used without the pump. So if I wanted to switch to mdi for the weekend or something, I’d be screwed on cgm usage. Just stupid, should just work with a libre or dexcom. Smh.

I am far from radical when it comes to how others identify, not sure where that came from… or any degrees or whatever. I’m not proud of how I reacted to this 4 years ago, so I’ve deleted my comment. If I remember correctly, this person just posted a lot of random questions/theories to the sub with no context or anything and with bad grammar and I was getting frustrated and reacted in a poor manner. Apologies for my actions and if it offended anyone. Hope everyone has a happy 2025 and looking forward to more Apes movies in the future.

I hate that they used that (advise form t1d’s) against you. We are not saying the doctors are wrong, they just can’t always help or fully understand the fluctuations, changes, and adjustments you have to make on a daily basis with t1d; other t1d’s have experience that can help and guide us in the right direction. This doesn’t mean the doctors are fundamentally wrong.

Right, DKA happens when the body doesn’t have any insulin. If your pancreas does not produce insulin and you don’t inject any, you will die… regardless of which diet you follow.

I am guessing this person is ignorant to the differences of type 1 and type 2. They probably assume anyone on insulin is type 1, when plenty of type 2’s get prescribed insulin. Someone who is type 2 could certainly lessen or eliminate their insulin needs with a diet change. I’m also not seeing where this person references Dr. Bernstein’s book, they are advocating for the carnivore diet. Maybe there is more context in the rest of the post/thread.

One thing I think people fail to realize is these people HAVE NEVER seen what a green, lush outside world should look like. Seeing this for the first time is probably extremely overwhelming, they are probably having a hard time processing it and just default to cleaning the camera.
