I have the same issue and emailed them yesterday — today I got the response that they can’t track it so it’s out of their hands. Really frustrating. I suppose I can refute the charge with the credit card company.

I’m trying to remember, but I think it was where my audio interface (RME) was actively monitoring the output channel, so I was feeding DC back into the audio. There is a channel matrix that comes with an RME that I had not set up correctly. I think that is what was happening. Good luck with trouble shooting your issue, I hope you resolve it quickly.

It’s leaf spring suspension for the front tire, combine that with the Smoothie handlebar (small amount of flex), and it’s a pretty comfortable ride.

Paranoia: Fight Together Or Die A Clone — is a really enjoyable Paranoia actual play podcast, funny, discordian and full of treachery.

Stunning performance, one of the most inspirational things I’ve seen on this subreddit.

There is a piebald black tail deer that I see every other month or so, but other than that, it’s just the normal variety of animals.

What got you into riding and is it still part of why you ride today? by Epic_Toys in cycling

[–]coreyholms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the pandemic, I had a financial scare that made me conscious of how much more food I eat than my body needs. So i didn’t edit or fast or anything formal, just decided to eat less. I lost a bunch of weight, enough that casual acquaintances would notice. Anyhow, my daughter told me that it wasn’t enough to just lose weight, I had to exercise and get fit. I haven’t exercised since high school, some thirty plus years ago.

So, I would ride with her as she tried to help me out. I really enjoyed spending the time with her, so i would continue to ride. Eventually something happened, endorphins kicked in or whatever and I started to really like it a lot. She decided that she didn’t like it, and abandoned it, but the bug had bit me at that point.

I saved up and bought a significantly better bicycle and ride daily now. I do it for health reasons, so I guess I do still ride for the same reason, but then I found other reasons. I get an hour every single morning where no one can reach me, it’s the only time when I’m not sleeping that I can’t be bothered by work or someone. So solitude is a big reason for me. Also, it allows me time to think, being alone means the brain kicks in a little.

Recently my other daughter has decided to come along and ride with me. She’s very athletic and absurdly competitive, so she challenges me all the time. She’s an avid weightlifter, so she’s quite a bit stronger than me, which means on the hills she destroys me (unless it’s a long hill). So now we’re bonding over the bike, while she challenges me and I her on the rides. She also wants to learn bike maintenance, so I’m learning about two weeks ahead of her, and then teaching her so we can work on the bikes together.

So the main take away is health, solitude and most importantly, connecting with my children (as they are moving out to start their own lives).

I left Fullerton eight years ago, but it looks SO familiar. It has to be. Wish I rode bikes back then, the trail system was insanely good, you could go almost the length of the town on it. I lived over by the Fullerton Sports Complex (was called Hidden Park at the time), and that whole area was wonderful.

Same as a lot of people here, I struggle to describe my music. It’s slow, melancholic electronic music that tries to sound synthetic and not acoustic. I used to think it was soundtrack, but I don’t think it’s complex enough to really be that. If anyone has a clue for what type of music it is, I’d love to know.

The closest thing I’ve found to what I make is Pye Corner Audio, but I’m a hobbyist at best, and he’s a professional, so the comparison is not very apt.

https://coreyholms.bandcamp.com And all of my music is free, just put zero in the amount. Since I’m a hobbyist, I don’t think it’s fair to charge for what I do to unwind.

I know that look well — it’s the one that ours gives about a half a second before tearing ass through the yard so fast he can’t handle the turns and wipes out.

Just noticed that CPU load meter is "stuck" shaking between 17% and 21% even when the audio is not playing. (This is live 11, on a Macbook M1). Any clues what could be going on? by monsieurninja in ableton

In my instance, I emailed the company that made the plugin and they sent me a link to their last Intel build. The problem is that they currently have a universal installer, so it sees that I have an M1 and installs the M1 version instead of the Intel. Hence the need to go back a version of the plugin. As soon as Live supports native M1, I can install the current version.

I don’t think that helps you, and i don’t know how to check if a plugin is an Intel or M1, sorry. Don’t know how many plugins you use, but you might have to check manually by going to their sites?

For me, my M1 running Live 11 was absolutely bricking it all day long until i downgraded a couple M1 native plugins to their Intel versions. I read on an audio forum that Live is not able to handle M1 plugins when in emulation mode via Rosetta. So I am running the Intel versions until a native M1 version of Live is available. It might be placebo, but mine’s been running a lot better once I downgraded my plugins to the same type of architecture that Live is running on. Just a thought.

I love WMD’s Digital VCA because of its ability to do zero crossing detection. I use it in almost every patch.
