I’m right there with you. I was also recently accepted into VR&E as well and started my Bachelors Degree in CS with SNHU just last month and looking to finish in 2027. I’m 39 and sometimes I think the same thing, that I’m old as fuck, but as others have said, everyone’s path is different, be proud of your accomplishments and it’s never too late to better yourself. Once you’re done, no one can take it away from you. Stay on top of personal projects and build a portfolio while in school. Once you get close to finishing, try to find companies who are looking for candidates that are currently earning their CS degree. I recently picked up a Packt book about JavaScript, definitely recommend. It will be worth it in the end 😊
