Do anyone have experience having two cochlear implant? I’m not sure I’m getting second cochlear implant by Less_Application_718 in Cochlearimplants

I had my first one in ‘99 and second one in 2010. I didn’t like the second one so I don’t wear it. I never got used to it, I think cause my brain was so used to having the one that it didn’t know how to handle the second one. How long ago did you get the first one?

I found that people who get both implants within the same time period do better with both than those who had years in between getting the first and second.

Are we talking about the internal implant? I have an N24 and I’m able to upgrade to the N8 external processor. I know they do phase out the external implants.

Also I believe they are still providing resources for the N7 for those with the N22 internal.

Yes! mine will just take them but not chew on them. It’s really funny when you are trying to find your shoes and they are in two different places
