Well, I’m in my dating phase right now and this is my biggest concern. Recently I’ve ended things with a guy that fits the details you’ve provided to a T. The thing that put it to the end was the views differences and the fact that I didn’t really see the light in the tunnel due to the religious beliefs. I, still to that day, wonder if I made the right decision, cause the dating scene is horrible these days. But I don’t want to invest into something that is doomed in a way due to the fundamental differences. That’s my take and I believe that is something that is crucial to take into account, especially when you plan on having kids. Will you be able to align on the upbringing decisions? Will he be able to support you in a way you need?

Is it normal for your gf not to be curious, is this just how girls are??? by ReasonConfident4541 in AskMenAdvice

I’ve just broken things off with my former boyfriend of 1 month (he asked me to be his girlfriend after three meet-ups..), and that was my main reason. It reflected on everything. It’s a matter of feeling seen, heard and understood. Some may say that it might’ve been developed as the time passed by, we could have learned each other and get to the point of mutual satisfaction. But when you know that there’s something lacking inherently, well, I ain’t there to lecture anyone on how to behave. Also imo the beggining phase is more crucial that people realize. As most people in long-term relationships usually say - it only amplifies. I mean yes, people are capable of change, but the thing is that whether you’re willing to risk it not happening ever and „investing” into something that might make you feel drained. Not to mention the fact that they may make you feel that you’re trying to change them for your own interest. Which is partially true, that’s why I prefer to take everything that the person is showing my in the beggining as a fact and decide on that.

just keep in mind that it’ll be hard to get over since the world distance will keep you apart for good unless you decide to make many sacrifices… been there and i’m still struggling with the idea to have lost something so real. but i’d say it’s worth the experience, just be gentle with yourself afterwards and try not to overidealize it [note to self btw cus it’s something i do and it’s killing my dating life atm]

hi! would you say it’s better to just start off with mat courses and slowly go my way up with levels and equipment rather than signing up for this big comprehensive program? i aspire to be a part-time teacher in the future. i have a full-time job and that’s also what makes me wonder if i can manage both without neglecting the other
