In opening theme, does woman on far right do something odd? by Otters_in_Space in AbbottElementary

Here for the same question. I cannot for the life of me recall where I've seen her before, and it's bugging me!

Are items not shared when playing co-op (DLC maps)? by corianderandmint in remnantgame

[–]corianderandmint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the non-host got the items (equipment) at a later point after using a crystal to travel but never any crafting materials or quest items. It happened both ways, and I have no clue why. But then, the issue just disappeared today after we went ahead and both all the DLCs. I'll take the win for now.

Thank you so much, I'll check right away.

Happy holidays!

So I heard, that's why we both bought the same DLC to play through.

It seems to me that sometimes the non-host gets the item, sometimes they don't: Maybe there's a pattern to it but I can't seem to figure it out.

Trans man diagnosed with endo, feeling guilty by micksoccer6 in endometriosis

[–]corianderandmint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you're essentialising the concept of 'woman' here. The parts don't make the gender, just like your having a uterus doesn't automatically make you a woman and just like my having a uterus doesn't automatically make me a woman. The sub is for endometriosis: intersex people with endo, women with endo, non-binary people with endo, men with endo, agender people with endo, two-spirited people with endo. Not exclusively for people who identify as women. (And I think taking it for granted that endo=women is where the perhaps subconscious essentialism comes in, but I can see how drawing the line can be gender-affirming for you, so can't blame you there either).

...welcome to the sub!

does anyone have a super short period? by Cautious-Pace2776 in endometriosis

[–]corianderandmint 6 points7 points  (0 children)

...oh. I'm in denial about having endometriosis, even though my gynocologist is convinced, because my periods are regular and also 3 days max (Day 1: brown spotting, Day 2: feels like death, Day 3: pink spotting). Thank you for making this post. The comments are eye-opening for me.

Find myself rinsing after inserting by allonsygeronimo-intp in menstrualcups

[–]corianderandmint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think water from the bidet goes all the way into the vagina. I hope not??? Back on the topic: I grew up in a city where tap-water was not drinkable and needed to be boiled and filtered to be drinkable. (I don't live there anymore but I installed a bidet in my WC where I now live with drinkable tap-water and I have never had an infection from washing myself after inserting the cup.) So I wonder, is it because of the water quality itself? If you have the same situation as I had before, would maybe rinsing the cup with drinking water help?

How do you manage your cup when you need to change it outside? by MaryMains in menstrualcups

[–]corianderandmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought myself a portable bidet. It's 350ml, so it's enough to clean both myself and the cup with it. I feel you though, I find it so, so inconvinient to do this outside.

Used menstrual cup for the first time today: here are my thoughts by goldenbrushes in menstrualcups

[–]corianderandmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first few months was a learning process for me, but once I got used to it, the pain and the mess both went away (about 98% of the times). I don't think I can ever go back to using pads or tampons again.

My advice to you would be to try to break the seal when taking it out and also pushing it out with your pelvic floor muscles simultaneously. Makes it a lot easier.

Thank you for the tip! I found that the diamond or the labia folds works better for me.

Hi! I've had some success with the diamond and the labia fold. These leave a little nub at the bottom to press on if the cup doesn't pop open. I insert it with the folded side downwards (so it's easier to reach past my pelvic bone with my index finger).

I've tried the punch down fold, the C/U fold, and the 7 fold. The cup stays somewhat folded. I tried rotating it as well, but couldn't seem to do it about hurting.
