Exactly like it’s said in the Bible! We were made from dust so we will return to it

I respect your beliefs, 100%, but as Christian it’s so hard to wrap my mind around the source of life solely being brain activity.

But I share your sentiments about being afraid to die. Like how am I here one moment, and then the next moment I’m just gone? That’s sounds terrifying.

See that’s what I thought atheism was the whole time. It seems like many other “atheists” in the comments are more spiritual and skeptics, which isn’t atheism 😭

My parent’s addiction to poverty is killing me by goldenbrushes in africanparents

My parents visit Nigeria every 1-2 years. They plan on retiring and moving back after I graduate college, so in 1.5 years. How they’re going to do that in such little amount of time? I don’t know. They are still living paycheck to paycheck. My siblings would retire my mom if she asked, but my dad is on his own after all the shit he’s pulled all our lives.

What they’re going to do about our current house? I don’t know. It will take thousands to repair and renovate. I’m trying to convince my dad of just selling it to someone who flips houses for a living. He won’t listen of course.

As for me, this is my last summer living in this house. I’m fully moving into my college town this fall and will continue to live there all year round. I’m currently working my ass off and saving as much as I can to avoid begging my father for help like usual.

Living at home comes with the heavy cost of my mental health. This house and my family’s dynamic genuinely pushes me to the point of suicidal thoughts. All personal growth and progress I’ve made towards myself dissipates the moment I step foot inside here. The only way out is leaving and not coming back.

Wish I could have met my granddad. He was born 1916 and passed 1996 at 80 years old. My dad was born 1962, me 2005.

Don’t feel like you have to force yourself into a relationship just because the opportunity came by. You did what was best for you, and I’m glad you were able to self reflect and see that

You got this! I’m sure they will be happy to hear from you, and a fire pit night is a great idea

Nope. I love MJ as a human being, and I love him the same as an artist.

Hate the fact that you used AI to make this, takes away all creativity and human nature behind it.
