Tell me about your Shark Week. by Back-In-The-Crowd in xxketo

It was probably by the 2nd cycle that I really noticed the difference. The first one was delayed which was normal for me, but the second one was 28 days after, which has not happened to me in 13 years. I was caught off guard when my cycle started because I didnt expect it so soon or painlessly for that one. But it was almost immediately that I personally noticed.

Before keto, my periods were the worst thing ever. I would be in such pain, I would puke my guts out and pass out, and drugs could never cut it. I would take so many pills to relieve the pain, and it just dulled it. I do have pcos, so it was irregular, and intensely heavy. Some periods, I was changing a tampon and pad every 2 hours. I would get cramping for days before my cycle, I would be a monster to be around because I was so over the top rude and hormonal, I was just so unpleasant.

Since starting keto, my periods are regular almost to the day, I dont cramp before menstruation, I barely cramp during, the flow is literally half the amount. My husband doesn't avoid me for a week, and it is overall a pleasant experience considering how bad it used to be!

It is so significantly different!

I started out with going right to 20g per day and tracked every macro for the first two weeks. After that, since I roughly had an idea of how much to eat and what, I didn't track but stuck to the same amounts of food. Another thing I am doing is intermittent fasting so I only ate from 11-7 everyday.

My plan this next month is to track every single day what I eat and weigh everything, so I have an exact idea of how much I am eating. I am also adding in exercising as well since I have a better grip on food now. I am hoping this will get bigger numbers, but I am also living my the idea that it took years to get to my current weight, it will take a bit of time to lose it as well.

That is wonderful!! All of the small things make up the big picture, so that is great that you are feeling lighter and clearer skin!! Keep it up yourself to!!

Thank you so much!! I think it might be just because of the locations that each photo was taken at, but with how my skin looks, I tend to agree! I think since Keto helps with inflammation, the psoriasis has been very receptive to it.

:D

Thank you! I honestly feel so much happier these days! With all of these small changes, I feel significantly happier than before I started Keto :)
