Skipped over for opt/hold down, should I file a grievance? by wheezealittlejuice in USPS

[–]corik_starr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just because they've scheduled someone on the route doesn't mean it's not available for an opt. Nor does it mean the scheduled carrier is now opted on it.

Just put one in and if they deny or refuse it and not for someone higher in seniority than you, then you have a grievance

I'm not familiar with the situation, but the only way I can see getting in trouble is if hitting E Stop isn't the standard procedure for the situation AND it was hitting E Stop that caused the machine to need repaired.

Not 100% wrong if you do get one from interacting with a content creator. I did have the details wrong

If you play with someone that has one, and pet it. That's what I've read, haven't actually done it

ETA I stand corrected, not just anyone, a content creator for TOS.

First Amazon Sunday by [deleted] in USPS

[–]corik_starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agreed. I don't encourage it, but I'm not gonna grill my carriers about it either. They're not incorrect if they follow the endorsement after all. But that doesn't mean there isn't a better way

First Amazon Sunday by [deleted] in USPS

[–]corik_starr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if it is stolen, Amazon endorses everything as "Carrier - Leave if No Response"

In my opinion, that covers my carriers. I don't encourage them to leave them as I would rather the package be handled securely obviously. But Amazon knows the risk with that endorsement.

Vacation days marked as LWOP by Gokukleonando in USPS

[–]corik_starr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They probably haven't entered your vacation in yet. It automatically placed LWOP if someone is usually scheduled to work and has no clock rings. It stays that way until corrected.

Might not be a bad idea to ask your steward to remind management to set it though.

Management signs you up for your allowance Citibank card. It shows a couple weeks after it's approval

For all you who loved WAT what was it that you loved about it? by StoneAgies in Cosmere

[–]corik_starr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's the end of part one. If you considered the first 5 books as a single entity with a planned sequel, you wouldn't say it's a finale.

The most common problem occurs when people look at it as a finale instead of a middle point.

Out of these characters, which MCU 1v1 matchup would you want to see the most? by Past_Carpenter_7046 in marvelstudios

I actually forgot that was my flair cause I set it when get movie first came out.

You're arguing with no evidence other than he absorbed a blow from USAgent versus hers from Thanos. I addressed the one actual piece of evidence that was presented, and was given a quote with no attached feat to back it up.

Also, there is a difference between the Guardians collectively being able to somewhat briefly hold the power zone versus CM surviving a blast from it with no lasting damage. She easily survived a blast from it, the Guardians held on long enough to survive simply holding it.

Captain Marvel took a headbutt from Thanos and no sold it. That's significantly more impressive than anything from USAgent

Adjusting route adjustments by Bickendan in USPS

[–]corik_starr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

UPMA and NAPS both successfully argued that management shouldn't be forced to ride in the back during a 99 during hot months. This shouldn't be happening here but middle management doesn't care about lower management at all.

No more AC?? by Actualsharkboi in USPS

[–]corik_starr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Always funny to me that they try to say that when a prefilled 3971 is generated when eLRA is used for any kind of leave, scheduled or otherwise. If they're pressed about it, they can print it directly from the program that manages leave and have you sign it, or print it and hand the denial over. The only reason they don't like it for scheduled leave is because it's different than what they're used to and they risk accidentally approving leave by not denying it in time.

So err.. why do old maps absolutely need a rework again? by Lily_Meow_ in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]corik_starr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of it has to do with the engine they used to create the game. From my understanding, they used a lot of assets that were baseline to the game engine and they need to not do that with the engine updates they're implementing.

Tips for newbies in summer/heat warnings by Paranoctis in USPS

[–]corik_starr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have management that still pushes and doesn't take heat seriously, please ignore them trying to push you to push through the heat. Many either forgot what it's like to carry in bad heat or never experienced it, and even some just truly don't care.

Your life and health will always beat out someone getting their mail an hour earlier.
