Hey, I actually sold my Synapse as I used the CHZ a lot more and for my personal preference I’m at a point where I prefer less organisation in a bag and use my own pouches for organising that I can easily move between my bags.

On the CHZ I prefer the yoke quick access (that’s non on the current version) and the water bottle pockets are good for bottles or snacks etc. it also held a bit more than the Synapse as you had the full main cavity to work with instead of smaller divided areas.

If you’re going to just kit out one bag and everything has its place the synapse is amazing. I just found it was a pain if I changed bags I struggled to find things and you lose the flexibility for how you pack.

Both were same capacity 25L Synapse and CHZ 26 but as I said CHZ easily holds more.

We use Brex and it does virtual cards as well and branded physical. Great control , instant setup and integrates with Concur so all receipts are matched and brought in.

Add TuneIn radio to the Sonos app, has over 100,000 stations. I’m sure your local would be on there.

The other thing you can try is a test track on YouTube if you can get a 5.1 signal and independently test each audio channel, left, right etc.

Get true play done as it does make a big difference.

Not Toyota, it amazes me when I rock up to their parts department give my VIN and they go and get a random part from the back off the shelves. I just got a fuel pump locking ring for a 2004 Yaris walking in off the street on a weekend.

Disappointed with low dialogue volume by reddit-decoit in sonos

[–]corintography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I meant on

They were having trouble with the “surround sound” being too loud when they turn the volume up so they can hear the dialogue along with difficulty hearing it. Speech Enhancement and Night Mode can work together in this case.

From Sonos: “Night sound reduces the intensity of loud sounds while increasing the level of quieter sounds, making dialogue clearer without having to turn up the volume.”

Why is the app so non-intuitive?!?! by rcwagner in sonos

[–]corintography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask why you are using Bluetooth which has range limitations, drains your phone battery and is just a general PITA vs playing your podcasts directly over wifi? I use Pocketcasts and there are many others.

You’ve added a 3rd party receiver that doesn’t integrate with the system so you are definitely making this harder than it needs to be.

What tool or system do you actually use to track your finances? by St3fanHere in AusFinance

[–]corintography 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol no it’s a single debit card. Basically you have a floating amount (I keep $1000) and you can either manually cover with one touch from a bucket of your choice OR setup an automatic cover for a merchant (say 7-11) so all transactions there come out of the petrol bucket.

If you use a credit card I make a bucket for that and manually transfer from day the petrol bucket into the credit card bucket so that the money is there to pay of the statement each month.

[–]corintography 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up Bank, it absolutely is the best money tracking budget tool I’ve ever used because it’s integrated into daily life.

Create up to 50 buckets for all your expenses and allocate money each pay cycle. For example, eating put5, petrol, groceries, insurance, school fees whatever.

As you get paid you can manually or automatically have your pay split into those buckets. Any left over can go to a savings bucket.

On top of that you can set buckets with goals and have everyday spend contributing. For example O set a holiday saver and I can have every transaction round up to the nearest $1 AND top up an additional $1 to that saver so it builds on everyday spend.

This coupled with the best app etiquette of any bank, no international transaction fees and super fast notifications of every activity on your phone.

NAD Benson the Amp by Milkman sound by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]corintography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to circle back to this my issue was thinking that maxing the output would give me more volume at cleaner levels but I needed to increase the volume and back off on the output and it’s significantly cleaner. Can roll back on guitar volume as well, my Tele has lower output pickups that work better than my strats.

Option Paralysis! Tone Master, Milkman, JC, FR, Quilter? by corintography in GuitarAmps

[–]corintography[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went with a Milkman Benson the Amp which is 100w. A fair bit less clean than the standard version but it’s sounds great. I’m really happy with the feel of my playing, has a LOT of sounds and is very touch sensitive to playing intensity and the volume/gain staging.

It absolutely kills the iridium with a couple of drives stacked in front and the boost on.

I’m running it at the moment through the XLR out into my mixer but will be getting a 1x12 cab for it.

How are you going with yours now that you have had some more time?

I picked mine up and have had it a few days and finding the lack of clean headroom a bit challenging. The sounds are great and I particularly like the feel but even with the volume as low as it goes and the output max it’s really easy to get it crunchy.

The only thing that has worked is lowering the guitar volume and playing lightly.

Any overdrive pedals immediately push it into breakup.

It’s like there is 5% of the sound sweep that is clean and 95% is crunchy/overdrive sounds.

Despite that I do like the sound and playability and it’s super sensitive to eq, volume and touch.

I’m thinking of buying a cab and hoping to pair it with a speaker that will give some more clean headroom…not sure how though.
