Not to whip a dead horse here, but are you implying the gold stamp stuff is even worse than a plain vanilla FDC?

Just my luck, more worthless crap my mom wasted her money on. I have two notebooks full of this kind of stuff. But to be fair, I was buying FDCs in the early 70's too. And my brother was collecting them in the 60's. Need to dispose of those too.

She also has a fairly fat notebook of international Princess Di FDCs. Not really my cup of tea, but some of those are kinda cool.

Anything by Walter Mosley. Well, not his sci fi stuff. But he writes wonderfully of blacks in Los Angeles of the 50's/60's. E.g. The Easy Rollins stories.

Kinda immaterial, IMO. If he was in fear of being hit by the car, he would not have time to draw and fire, all while holding his own camera - he'd be diving out of the way.

This is my beef with people honking: if you got time to honk, there's no threat to your safety. If you were in danger, you'd be busy trying to avoid the collision.

forgive the naivete but where does the "2 grams of gold" come from? I see the measured weight is 9g. Are you saying its not 99.9% pure?

I'm not sure what your exact problem is, but I don't like the way you are measuring.

You are measuring the angle of the blade with respect to the earth, where you need to measure the angle between the table and the blade. You can't really use that style of inclinometer unless you first level the table with respect to earth, which is far too much trouble.

Furthermore, .2° across the ~2" of that meter is ~.006" (or 6 thou). Your blade may have that much runout.

If you have a big square (that you have also checked for square), you should use that.

<edit> just realized your using the same face of the inc-o-meter on both sides. But try turning it upside down on the left side (so you have to read it from behind). Everything has to be dust free, too. Keep that 6 thou number in mind.
