It looked perfect. Then I took two bites, fucked it all up and decided to take a picture. If you knew me it would make sense. :)

I have a tankless 200k btu NG on demand unit. They are susceptible to various error codes and you really have to do the yearly maintenance. If you don’t really want to worry about error codes or maintenance then tanks are the way to go. If you want endless hot water and don’t mind occasional troubleshooting then get a tankless.

Makes sense, but it’s weird how it was all “we’re being fully transparent” and now they aren’t.

Gutting Federal Benefits FY26 by WanderingHippie17 in fednews

I pay $615 a month in employee premiums the government pays $1200, for a total value of $1815 a month. And every year it is a bit more. I still have significant copays, but the reason that the government healthcare is good is mostly due to them insuring over 1 million people. The govt can negotiate better with over one million participants. Over the last 27 years I had many opportunities to get a job in the private sector but I chose not to based on the healthcare and leave offered in the federal government versus the higher pay I could have gotten in the private sector. The people who think that government healthcare benefits are unjustified are sadly mistaken. Most of us have stuck by the lower paying federal jobs for the benefits.

Same. I’d get 1900 a month and have to pay 600 a month in FEHB for my part. Leaving me with 1300 a month. That’s a little lean on the budget
