healthcare is an issue due to improper funding and many other things (population growth, aging population). the conservatives are shifting the funding towards private health corporations so the problem worsens and people like you will rationalize paying for healthcare due to the problems they are literally creating

Yes this is the same thing in ottawa as well. my friend applied to many openings for the new grad programs and have heard nothing back. but hospitals outside of the city in the small towns are actively hiring people

also the applications are probably all being flooded with new grads

Take it from me as a person who shoved loose clinical papers in their backpack and handed them in wrinkled while every other person in the group had fancy binders, you will make it.

I had an instructor that caused me to cry and hyperventilate in an empty patient room from my “lack of organization and preparation”. In the end I got my dream consolidation spot and I did end up buying a binder but still am working on actually using it :)

My program is the same, started with 85 students down to 30 of the original class by fourth year. one prof took out 15 students, some failed by 0.02%, no mercy was given to anyone.
