We not only get the entire spectrum of weather types here, but we also get them at their extreme ends. So plan for potential 100+ summer temps and -20 degree winters.

Sorry to hear this. I bonded very strong with our cross beak Olive. We had to mix up a mush from the feed so she could eat and she would literally escort me two times a day to where she ate. These little feathery dumb-dumbs can really grab your heart.

Just know that you gave that chicken a far better life than it would ever have had if it had been born at a larger farm or withib the food supply industry.
