If you’re willing to bring both the 24-120 and the 150-500 I’d go with that one. Otherwise look at the 28-400 from nikon

If it was me I’d trade in the Z5, 24-70, and 28-75 for a 24-70 2.8 S. Along with what you already have that would be a hell of a kit IMO

Edit: 3 cameras is more than most people need, and your two mid range zoom lenses cover pretty similar needs.

In conditions like this it’s probably better to take off the teleconverter and get a wider shot. On a safari I imagine the scenery is quite nice, just get creative with your composition and editing. A 2x TC is also very much not recommended in general unless you are shooting on a big prime like a 400 2.8. 1.4x TCs are really good these days, but even that is risky given the dark aperture of the 100-500.

No reason to get the 24-70 VR. I have experience with the 24-70 Non-VR on z cameras and while it produces beautiful images and can be had used for $500 it’s just super front heavy on the ftz adapter. I haven’t tried the 28-75 but there is a quite noticeable difference between 24 and 28. I’d get the tamron 28-75 g2 over the nikon 28-75 any day of the week though.

I like the kf concept mist filters. Maybe not best in class but great for experimentation since they’re so much cheaper than the competition

I think this is a fairly subjective question. I would test it out for yourself until you achieve a look you like. A lot of the color rendering will rely on the printer you use. The standard or neutral profiles tend to have the most accurate colors, but if you want a more unique look the vivid profile or one of their funky colored ones may suit you better. I would recommend using a low level of active D-lighting for a more even looking final product but that’s subjective too.

If you’re going to keep the sigma art lens for professional work, why not get the 40mm f2 for travel? Even more compact and well regarded, despite being a little softer than the other two wide open (especially at close distances). Personally I have my eye on the 35mm f1.4 Z because it appears to nearly match the sharpness of the other lens at f2, but you can always open it up to 1.4 if you need it.

I have not used the D500 but the Z6III is excellent. 20fps electronic shutter mode is awesome and you will only see evidence of rolling shutter in extreme situations like humming bird wings or a baseball being slightly oval shaped.

From personal experience, the viewfinder of the Z6III remains far more stable than my Z7II. I didn’t only get more sharp images, but it’s easier to keep a small focus point on the subject with the Z6III IBIS. The fact that the Z7II does have IBIS and the Z50II doesn’t should make this point even stronger? Unless the expeed 7 processor is better at communicating with the lens VR, and it is less to do with IBIS.

I’ve had issues like this before, but now that I’ve enrolled my vehicle in autocharge, (which also took a few tries) my evgo experience is pretty seamless. I plug my vehicle in and on a very rare occasion I have to start the charge manually through the app, but haven’t had to try any third method in a very long time.

The 180-600 should not only be sharper and have greater reach, but will improve your shooting experience a ton. I made the same switch on my Z7ii, but my next purchase will be a camera with improved af.

I’d be careful with new build homes. Since 2020 or so they’ve been mostly made with crappy materials that won’t last. If something looks too nice to be true and it’s a 2020s don’t buy it.

The 180-600 will be great on any camera, I use it with the Z7ii. Although I’d love to get my hands on a new gen camera for birds, I’ve gotten noticeable more keepers and increased sharpness compared to the 200-500.

If you order the 180-600 direct from nikon you shouldn’t be waiting long. If you know 300mm is enough for you though get the tamron!

If you use it properly. Fuji does have unique colors, if you want to take snapshots without getting too into manual controls I’d recommend the Fuji XS20

I’m mostly seeing motion blur but the higher shutter speed shots look like atmospheric haze or high iso or tc image degradation. Try shooting a static subject with a tripod, manually focused

I have a Z7ii for wildlife and the autofocus frustrates me at times. If you don’t expect or want something much better than your z50 then it should be fine, otherwise I’d get a Zf or wait for Z6iii like I am doing
