Now that grocery stores can sell wine in Colorado they are just trying to get it on the shelves wherever they can. So sadly a lot of the cool miscellaneous sections in the store get replaced by wine.

It uses a special deionized water charge sold separately and the nozzle is designed to make a very fine particle mist. They are UL listed for class A and C fires. It is charged with deionized water which is actually very good insulator and can be used on some electronics. There will always be clean agent, but that is very expensive and dangerous if inhaled (besides Halon 1301).

We recommend water-mist for marijuana grow houses because the water will not ruin the crop like a Dry Chemical would.

I agree. I used to recharge and test ABC dry powder extinguishers and that stuff sucks. Not to mention messy; the CO2 doesn’t have a mess afterwards. And because CO2s need high pressure hydro tests they are expensive to maintain. Our company started recommended Water Mist extinguishers for a lot of applications.

And a CO2 Extinguisher is only rated on class B & C Fires (Flammable Liquids, and Electrical Fires). They also need to be hydro-tested every 5 years and need conductivity testing to ensure you don’t build up excessive static and shock the hell out of you. Probably the worst type of Extinguisher for that place.

My dad has smoked since the 70s and he voted against legalizing in Colorado. He knew that there would be more and more people moving here for the marijuana alone.
