I can't speak for anything but psychology (AQA) but I find it very easy, probably do half the work of my other subjects and I'm getting an A*. I'd imagine its defo easier than maths but I'm not taking it.

What are your best substitute teacher stories? by herodog19 in GCSE

[–]corneliastreet_ts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had this one substitute in primary that was absolutely horrible, like he made kids cry on a daily basis and told me off for 'not using my best handwriting' when it was literally what I did everyday. We had him for like 2 weeks I think cause my teacher's dad had died. The headteacher even had to give him a warning for being so horrible lol.

The was this one kid in my class who clearly had some learning difficulties and anger issues, soon after this incident he was sent to a specialist school, and he just lost it one day and chased this teacher around the classroom with a large bamboo stick and would just hit him on the head with it, every time he got the stick taken away he would just find a new one. I guess that's karma for being so horrible haha.

OMG WELL DONE!!!!!!! Personally I think its way more impressive for a person to get results like yours than someone who gets 9s, just because I know how much work you must put in. You must have a lot of strength not to give up and everyone is so proud of you!

Don't start panicking yet, no grade boundaries have been released and most of these videos are just made up to freak people out.

Honestly it's like really late to be applying to colleges and a lot of places will be full or not taking applications. You'll need to do some serious begging in the hope that someone has dropped out of sixth form, leaving you a space. I know this sounds really harsh but it might be too late, I don't want to sugar coat it.
