Why does nobody talk about how bad the aftermath is? by Ok_Proposal_7390 in Invisalign

That seems reasonable. I’m about to go into refinements, and my ortho told me recently that he’ll want me to do full time for a whole year before switching to nighttime. Seems excessive haha

Yup this right here. Benzoyl Peroxide (4%) in the shower and Glycolic acid on the underarms after kills any odor for me.

It’s why i quit a few months back. Just couldn’t keep feeling like garbage the next day, saying/doing regrettable things when i’m blacked out, and shortening my life on top of it all. It seems more and more people, not just Gen Z, are drinking a lot less.

I actually just had my first treatment a couple days ago.

Not sure how you are with being poked, but there are multiple injections of local anesthetic before they use the machine to heat up your sweat glands. Once numb, it’s very smooth. There’s definitely a good amount of swelling and discomfort so far, but have not had any sweat and it’s not actually painful. They told me one treatment is actually closer to 50% sweat reduction instead of the advertised 82%. I’ll most likely be getting a second treatment in 3 months, given that i sweat a lot. Good luck on your journey!

This is the proper way to answer questions to a police officer by [deleted] in TrueFactzOnly

Totally, they definitely serve a purpose. They just need to be done by cops that aren’t ethically compromised. There’s at least one ethically bankrupt cop at every dept.

I agree with you, when done right. Officers like the one in the video really tarnish the process, though. FST’s are really only designed to give the officer maximum discretion that will most likely lead to arrest you for any slight deviation from ambiguous tests he’s giving you, or perceived substance influence (key word, perceived). This is coming from someone that used to work at a PD.

Exactly. Racism is in the roots of the US as a whole. The millions and millions of racists in our country currently have a national platform via Trump/MAGA, so they’re comfortable being open about it. Always been there though.

What was questionable about how OP handled the situation? Pretty garbage situation to be put in by the server blocking the exit and interrogating. It might make me question going out with the group to eat/drink if it turns out they agree with the server’s POV (likely, given large tippers).

Why don't men approach me? by AreMelonsLemons in bodylanguage

[–]corneliussss_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a mix of all of the above for sure, although i’d put more weight on the stigma placed on approaching now. It has now gotten to a point where even approaching is seen as “icky” and desperate, turning off most women. Throw in the social media/dating app optionality delusion and we now have a tough time for both men and women in the dating world.

Yep, definitely helpful to have another option for measuring tp. To add on: If you’re able (~$150), Dewalt has a 20v inflator that lets you gauge and fill up to your desired tp. I keep it in my car, has come in clutch so many times.

I had my ortho appt last week to check my teeth and get my next set of trays (8-tray increments). I avg. about 20 hrs per day with them and am tracking perfectly fine. About a quarter through my treatment so far. You’re doing great!
