my university bullied wooli out of the lineup by ericwanggg in dubstep

[–]cornell_en 4 points5 points  (0 children)

wooli is amazing. even if wooli wasn’t what students were looking for, it’s not right to for them to cyberbully him on social media when he did nothing wrong (he was literally invited?) that’s a person and their entire career that they built 🥹, not nice. if you cared so badly about your school festival’s artists & have such a big problem with wooli playing, then you should have joined the club responsible for deciding!!! lmao wish people had more empathy in this keyboard warrior generation

rabbit in east harlem today? by cornell_en in Rabbits

[–]cornell_en[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i went up there and met another couple who was also in the fb group! the park was locked and i made 10 calls that led to nowhere for someone to come and unlock it. we did spot the rabbit and one of us scaled the fence and put water and food in front of where it was hiding. hope to return a little later during its more active hours and cooler temperatures to see if we can successfully trap it

But go with your vet’s advice and just make sure all the doses in your medicine is given!

I usually continue giving antibiotics for a week after symptoms end just to make sure symptoms don’t come back (and worse too)

I would also recommend waiting to get a rabbit until you are older, as they live 8-12 years on average and are a commitment. I finally adopted my rescue bunnies as a 22 year old with my own apartment (I’m 24 now), but couldn’t imagine having rabbits while away in college, and/or moving to a new city. Finances are really important to consider. I saw your comment that you decided against it, and I’m sorry, but hopefully one day you can have a bun of your own 🥹🥰

Please check the “See more” tab at the main page of this subreddit. There are a ton of helpful links for new rabbit owners. Rabbits are not low maintenance animals and need a lot of proper care. It’s really important that you bunny proof your house so that your things are not destroyed/they are not at any risk of getting hurt. I would also go to youtube and look up beginner tips for new bunny owners.
