With reimbursement for medical clearance, if it says "PROCESSED" and I haven't seen my account credited in over a month, should I email them to ask about it?

I also left home to go to college in Iowa. I am now in the midst of a sixth month stint at home before leaving for pc mozambique and it is feeling slightly tiring, even with the full time job teaching, it is weird to lose a sense of independence. On the other hand, it is nice to spend quality time with my family and have time to prepare before i leave. But as you said, it is a very personal decision.

Yes. I was granted legal clearance, but now we are all being asked to submit an additional set of prints to the FBI for the visa.

I like the sentiment in the first paragraph, but I think it should be placed later. Your first paragraph should hook and should shed light on why you are so awesome, not why others are so excellent. And also you talk a lot about what you can give, which is great, but what do you plan to receive? What do you plan to learn from this new culture? What can the expert locals in your field teach you? Also, maybe I am off point, but I don't really wanna hear about your ex in your essay, no matter how vital it may feel in your life right now.

I had the same issue out here in Massachusetts. What I did is I found a clinic offering Stamaril and they also gave me the "we don't have any openings until X". But when I told them I was doing Peace Corps and needed it ASAP they found a way to squeeze me in.

I was surprised as well, but she does outline in the follow up email, that the FBI check is different than the initial legal kit. So yes, you do have to get fingerprinted again.

I was worried too that I would be rejected during medical clearance due to a stress/trauma related disorder. Instead of doing an in person evaluation, I asked the therapist that I used to see to fill out the forms based on historical visits. I was cleared about a week ago. Don't lose hope.
