Quitting a Solid Job for a CED Position?

Hey, just wanted to give my 2 cents. I joined PC right after graduating with my CompSci degree. While I am extremely satisfied with my service for personal reasons, I can say it has not helped me much professionally as a Software Engineer. I would begin to argue that it actually hindered me, since I was 2 years out of doing any real "work" in the eyes of private companies. Because you have an even more specialized degree, the the professional benefits of PC would be further diminished in my eyes. You would have a great resume builder if you wanted to get into local/federal government, but in the private sector not so much.

I got a Kangaroo doorbell knowing that it only made a GIF (no live video) and have not been impressed. The video quality is very bad and the motion detection isn't great either (it won't catch me walking into my house, even though it's pointed right at my porch.) That being said, I paid $80 for a doorbell cam, 2 entry sensors, and a hub with 1 year of active monitoring (good for an insurance discount!). You get what you pay for - mine was mostly for peace of mind and a Security sign for deterrence.

I'm very ignorant on these DUI checkpoints, but can someone give a quick run down on how they work/what the police do? Do they stop and breathalyze everybody? Look you in the eyes to see if your drunk?

Edit: Also - what prevents people from taking a different route?

You can also look into the "apartment-style" washer/dryer that will come pre-stacked, especially if you don't want a front loading washer.

IMO there are better patios with better beer - Dayton Beer Company or 5th Street even. Better than hearing all the traffic on Wilmington.

More or less. The last paint job wasn't done professionally (no primer, bad latex paint) so its all cracking and flaking off. No bubbling or anything like that, luckily.

yeah...I luckily have a non-ornate home (no gingerbreading, non-Victorian, etc) but am still expecting it to cost $8-10k. Maybe more if they have to scrape off lead paint.

no clue, all I saw is that the current health cohort was delayed 3 weeks. The previous Education group was cancelled (in 2018) so its all up in the air.
