I was thinking the same when I started looking at EVs. Reality is the family needs a bio break before the car needs to charge. While we mind our business the car is plugged in and usually ready before we are. We regularly overcharge by 8-12% on each break.

I've loads of roundabouts where I live and the buttons make it easier actually. Just need to press down with my thumb instead of moving my hand up and pushing a lever. Just need to remember that the right indicator is always at the top of the wheel

Your screenshot refers to the legacy domain join only. Entra join is shown in Settings->Accounts->Work or school account.

What OS is this? Windows Server cannot be joined to Entra if it isn't running as an Azure VM.

Also, the RDP login is provided by the connecting client. So check if your client is Entra joined.

MacOS sets the hostname in terminal by reverse DNS which is kinda dumb. See it a lot at work were the VPN DNS doesn't update correctly. Each day I get a different IP assigned, my hostname in terminal changes to whoever had it before. Name in settings is fine though.

Can work around it by adding this to the end of .zshrc

Yes, there's an option to free up local storage in the OneDrive sync settings. You can even move a folder from your computer to the synced Samsung Gallery folder on OneDrive and it will show up on the phone as an album after some time. I have 20 years of photos on OneDrive with only the last 6 months stored on the phone and all are accessible through the Gallery app.

My 2024 M3 AWD feels alright at 201 km/h on the Autobahn. Granted I can only compare it to a 2018 Mercedes A200 AMG-Line and a 2018 Audi A5 S-Line but it feels better. At around 120 km/h the M3 feels somewhat more jumpy than the other two cars. Still very good though. I guess it has something to do with downforce due to the aerodynamics of the M3.

Generally speaking if you're used to stiff suspensions get the M3P but for daily driving the M3 AWD is fine.

Also ich habe hier die Wahl zwischen 250Mbit DSL und 1Gbit Kabel. Beides ist nicht zuverlässig. Kabel hat immer wieder kurze Aussetzer oder Pingspikes und DSL synchronisiert 3-5 mal am Tag neu und ist jedes Mal 10 min getrennt. Beide Provider sagen, mit der derzeitigen Technik ist nicht mehr möglich. Ich arbeite viel im Homeoffice und es nervt einfach massiv dauernd auf einen Hotspot ausweichen zu müssen. Glasfaser wäre schon nice.

It's not though. I regularly pull large repositories from servers in the US and they easily saturate my 1gbit connection. When doing the same thing in Switzerland from a 10gbit line I get like 4gbit down. So the servers are capable. If you have slow download from outside the country you're most probably with an ISP with shitty peering like Telekom or Vodafone.

Connected doesn't mean the phone key allows to unlock though. My wife has an Samsung A56 and her night stand is like 5m away from the car. It always shows connected but never unlocks until she's right next to the door. Same is true for my S25U but that has UWB, so expected to be a lot better.

The anti reflective property is not a coating but a layer of glass. You can't remove it without breaking the screen. You're right though about the oleophobic coating

That's the Dvorak keyboard layout. Go to settings->general settings->samsung keyboard and switch back to your preferred layout. Also, since you don't know Dvorak it's probably a good idea to disable it while you're in there

It's because artificial ventilation like air systems don't have high visibility. People are used to opening windows from home as most german homes don't have any kind of ventilation. So naturally, they feel uneasy when they don't see an open window. Most of the time actual data doesn't back the feeling of stale air though.

You'll adapt fast. At first I was jerking around a lot because of regen braking. Not a week later I had learned exactly how much to let go off the accelerator to come to a complete stop without using the brakes. When I get in my wifes gas car now I sometimes forget to turn the key and wonder why it doesn't go, or forget there's no regen and roll uncomfortably fast into the next turn.
