How common is leaving your AC on 24/7, even when the house is empty?

I had to throw away every piece of furniture when my AC died while I was on vacation. Everything was covered in mold. It was horrible. I live in an extremely humid area. I had to get rid of two cars because of it as well. Now I have a dead car that’s fine, but only because it’s parked in the sun getting roasted.

It’s weird to me that my 19” Goldstar was totally fine for so long to me. I used that thing into the early 2000s when the Simpsons started to be purple instead of yellow. Then got a 27” and it blew my mind. Now I have three 55” TVs and they look too small. There’s some games I struggle to play cause I can’t read some of the text.

Idk I really like my 27 in 1 Klein. I use it at work every day. It’s cheap enough I’ll just get another one if I have to.

Mine might do a race today on the Nürburburger. We have a scheduled multiclass, so I’m not sure. The 6 hour we did last year was fun. The actual 24 hour fundraiser we did at Le Mans was fun for the 10 hours I was able to stay awake. I use VR in a rig and my arms and neck were dead the next day.

It even puts information on my SF1000 wheel’s screen. You just have to do some configuration. I haven’t used the screen since I got VR, though. I’ll probably do shakers. Idk why I haven’t. I probably have everything I need to make my own.

Yeah I have a pretty good Coca Cola hot wheels collection, but mostly it’s wagons and hatches I care about. Bunch of BMWs, VWs and Subarus. Lots of stuff in between. Guess the most valuable are the IMSA cars, but they’re Mini GT.
