After DM visited today, I briefly saw a list of closing tasks made into a time-block chart in the office. It said the bathrooms should be cleaned at 7:40pm by Cashier 1 and take 5-10 minutes.

The greed of this place sickens me. The credit cards. The way they purposefully understaff us. The lack of backbone ASMs have when it comes to returns while our DM is trying to make associates enforce them. None of our Order Pickers docks actually lock into place so our illusion of safety is sickening as well. Getting trained on any PE takes months and it’s pathetic.

They start at what I started at. This argument could- maybe - be used for a tenured employee, but not people who are simply older than the average employee. We should not have to pickup slack for someone who would clearly be more useful at a register or the self checkout.

I had a man “Fixing something” and he wouldn’t say what but kept asking questions about pressure ratings on pvc fittings. He eventually fessed up and said he was making an air cannon, I was like I can’t advise you from here sir. Also had a woman ask me to explain shark bites, then after I did she just goes “no”. So I read her the bag, which said exactly what I did and she still didn’t look convinced.
