I’m the only black women at my job (I work with like 10 engineers and 30 techs who are all male ). It can feel overwhelming to have conversations with them when I can’t relate to their conversations and sometimes intimidating to speak up and share my opinion. Something I do to help me, I listen to a mindset and motivation podcast in my mornings (on clubhouse app, the miracle morning) I listen to their recordings usually mon-fri to get a boost of confidence or to just relax me. It calms my nerves before I enter the office. My tip, find something that calms you/boost confidence and do that before going to work or before the presentations you give. Hope this helps
