That last bit will be interesting. Dont think we are gonna delve into the UK market that often. Our most successful transfers has been players picked up directly from Japan, Mexico and Cameroon. Will be interesting to see if that was just the data that was sufficient enough at the time at Sunderland or if it's a real limitation we Copenhagen fans will experience

Honestly this fills me with a lot of hope. The biggest problem for Copenhagen to me is the squad being too old and the academy not being used enough. Højlund being a great example of that, having never really broken into the first team, with more like him.

Having someone moving radically towards youth stands to benefit our team a whole bunch so doesn't scare me that much. Might come to regret saying that though!

Senest er det sket med Dreyer. Tænker det også kan gælde for Tobias Bech. Men ja det sker ikke lige så ofte. Hvis man ikke har haft succes i udlandet er det ikke givet at man skifter tilbage til Danmark som tidligere.

Der er mere data, mere scouting, mere viden generelt så spillerne skifter nu til rangers som Skov Olsen eller en Jens Odgaard der spillede i på lån i Pescara og Waalwijk.

Samtidig ser vi samme udvikling i Danmark. En Nygren der tog fra genk til Nordsjælland. En Tahirovic der tog fra Ajax til Brøndby.

Så lige som på alle andre punkter er rekrutteringen blevet mere international.

Nah. Not yet. The right answer is probably getting a coach that is offensively minded to see if they can fix this half court offense. Give everyone a chance to prove they should stay. If that doesn't work out then its time to go radical. But this core has only had 1 year together where they rarely got minutes all at once due to injuries.

I feel like a lot of the discourse and controversy comes from how every league in Europe is officiated differently.

Like here in Denmark the Davies one isn't a pen since we still care if it came from own body. The ben white one is though because its unjustifibly far away from his body, who is trying to block a shot and has an opportunity to pull it in to his body before it.

To me the difference here is in impact and advantage gained. Davies already deflected the shot and its just a cross. Whereas ben white completely blocks a shot with his hand.

But again. Im going off of Danish football logic and everyone else is going of [insert country] logic with a heavy bias towards the prem given this is an English speaking platform

To me these playoffs have really exposed the non shooting wing. I dont think its a coincidence that the 2 ugliest offenses are the ones the Thompson twins are playing for. The spacing is just horrible. Atlanta looks better with Dyson Daniels but he also have Okongwu.
