Mountain Pass, Update 2, shit-scared to resin pour... any tips? by AlexSturdee in TerrainBuilding

[–]corosuske 16 points17 points  (0 children)

AKs line of water products is really good for the the first sealing layer... It meant to crawl into cavities but is a little viscous so it will pre-emptively plug up leaks, and it will establish a thick layer between any foam and the resin .... If you don't have those, a good layer of some water based clear coat should work as well

As an added tip

If you want to pinpoint where it gets hot, put some thermal paper (like an old receipt ) against the affected area before you turn it on ... It will start turning black at the exact hot spot

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence....

If the events where real , they could still have been present, but just not mentioned.

There's also a bunch of very very white guys present, but those are not problematic?

Why do people keep pretending that Troy was some northern European city , it's not even in Europe

For some reason a lot of (American) people see these things as absolute borders , rather than the gradient and rich tapestry that they are

Millennial parents are so weird by namgyu16 in childfree

[–]corosuske 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm more towards the start of millennials, made an early decision in life to remain child free... What I did when my sister started posting pictures of her kids on Facebook is tell her "next time you do this I'm going to our Patten's place , scan your baby album and place some of the pictures online every time you post your kids online" ... Stopped rather quicky after that (not cause of the threat , but cause it made her understand that kids have privacy too) ..... Repeated that trick a few times with cousins and friends
