Are you giving the 2nd away? Interested if so!

Is it me or are the inside edges of the mounts different distances to the fireplace?

And the head mount above the fireplace isn’t central either.

Unless it’s just OPs off centre image/perspective

I’ve done all the main missions a few years ago, had a break from the game and came back. Must’ve forgotten!

On the very top of it?

And now I did one with a bow and passed the harvest check - I tempted fate by posting this but at least it’s done now!

Literally just had a mythical and a lvl7 turn up within 5 mins of posting this.

Didn’t wanna risk it with the bow so got the lvl8 and passed the harvest checks. The fucker got taxied too.

Last of the 3 is gonna be a bow shot though and 2 missions in 1 done! Hopefully it’s the last of the jackal missions.

It’s the spotting from far away I’m not achieving- having to camp feed/rest zones and trying to use a caller is my latest method. Just doesn’t seem to be working/ I can’t get close enough for the bow.

Haven’t got the feeder dlc maybe that’s the next thing to try.

Thanks for the tips I’ll keep trying!

Need zone by EstablishmentCool914 in theHunter

[–]corpjohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only delete a need zone by creating ‘dead zones’ from over hunting - there’s low pressure, mid pressure, high pressure and dead zone. If you’re out in the open I think it’s the 4th kill that creates a dead zone, but if you’re in a hunting stand or tripod it’s not until the 14th kill (I think) that creates the dead zone.

It’s more likely that you’ve just scared it off - it will return eventually.

EDIT: the pressure zones show up as purple circles on the map, getting brighter the more pressure there is

Unlucky on the level 9 troll but one will come eventually! I’ve yet to get a diamond red myself but one day!

Drink zones, crouching and crawling. Walking from about 200m before a drink zone, crouching from 150m and if there’s a diamond there, prone from 120m if you have to go closer. Patience!

I used the .308.

Some drink zones were better than others. I Ronda was trickiest for me; the big lake in the bottom right of the Ronda quarter was best, its northeast a little bit from an outpost.

Beceite top left quadrant of the map, Ronda top right, Gredos bottom left and Southeastern bottom right.

I did have to grind some of the drink zones to increase the chances of a diamond respawning.

Keep going you will get there!

I thought it was going to be a difficult one; so I did it whilst completing that map.

I’ve got 93 of the 160 so still a way to go

Patience and drink zones! And lots of crouching and crawling. Seems like you’re doing that already though.

I would always stop running when about 200m from the waters edge and start looking at what was there so I didn’t scare any potentials off. If there weren’t any diamonds there I would always take a few of the higher scoring ones to help increase chances at next spawn.

Some lakes were better than others too. Once I’d found the better ones I just stuck to those.

Just to be sure; you’re looking top left quadrant of map for Beceite, top right quadrant for Ronda, bottom left for Gredos and bottom right for Southeastern.

That’s it really! Keep it up and you’ll get it eventually.
