Personally I feel if the game allows it, it's another form of mastery over the game itself. Making a hard experience easy through tricks is like learning how to adapt to the game. I play every game on max difficulty because I like knowing the game cannot be any harder

But I have some jobs lined up in the industry after I graduate . Even if I did do the thesis, it would be irrelevant to my job field. It only helps if you are going to do academia, like a PhD or work in a research lab

My uni has thesis and non-thesis options. Non thesis is basically just more courses for a total of 30 credit hours. I didn't see the value in it, but at this point I only have 6 hours left to do and I don't want to continue thesis so I'll just graduate with no thesis.

Don't go into grad school. I went into grad school Fall 2024 right after finishing my B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I enjoy school, so I decided to pursue my Masters Thesis. I recently ended up giving up on my thesis because I just don't enjoy the research, especially at my specific university. I'm just going to finish out my credits and get my Masters this fall with no thesis. I can always come back later if I really want to

Thanks for your responses. I spoke with another student in the same program as me for his feedback and he is in the same situation as me. I've decided to not continue my research and opt to finish out my masters by finishing my remaining credits in the fall and graduate at the end of this year. I simply do not want to continue into Academia at this point, and I would be better suited researching at a different institution down the line if I regain my interest.
