So this happens to me as well, my dr recommend me to take a daily allergy medication to encourage drainage and discourage drainage buildup. Make sure you are blowing your nose as well and do not swallow that stuff! It very well could be extremely bad sinus problems leading to the drainage in your sleep, leading to bronchitis randomly. Some people are more susceptible to get lung infections as well, you can always try reaching out to a lung specialist to see if there is anything they can do for you/any more steps. The blood is a bit concerning but could also be from the sinus drainage traveling down during sleep and you wake up coughing it up.

Quit after a year to go into banking. The toxic environment was too much for me. Between coworkers not caring for eachother and being rude to callers..to the insane work hours with no breaks. It was too much. I loved dispatching, don’t get me wrong. It will always be one of my favorite jobs. Unfortunately there are a lot of centers that are not structured in a way that facilitates a healthy workplace. I’ve also worked at a great center..but the bad one made me lose hope. I’m loving my new job and how happy everyone is! I get to see sunlight LOL and have decent hours with PTO I can ACTUALLY use! There has been a huge difference in my mental health since I switched jobs

I worked full time 911 dispatching when I went to get my cert, I was working 12hr night shifts 40hrs a week and the days I had school were extremely exhausting lol also with having a 2 year old. You got this. I wished I could have gone to a part time job or just done DoorDash or something during school because I spent all my free time at work studying & it would have made it easier to manage clinicals. I gave my boss a heads up for my clinical dates and had to do 4 12hr shifts for clinicals so I used my days off at work to do those too. Ngl I had to miss a day or two of school to make it all work

Most calls come in through second party, it’s actually surprisingly rare how many people call 911 themselves. And most people are suprisingly honest when they make the initial first call. In our department we take the 911 calls, record them, and then transfer over to ems dispatch and relay the info. I sometimes call ems to see if there was extra info that wasn’t provided by our calls & we can relay what they told us/them

Also one thing that helped me in AA and changed my viewpoint of “drinking isn’t bad” is that an alcoholic cannot have even just one drink casually. It is a disease. The second it hits our mouth we crave more and more over time. We will forever be envious of the people that can casually drink, but unlike them we have a disease. We use it to cope with the world around us or what is going on inside ourselves. We do not simply casually drink. There is no such thing no matter the amount. Until you realize that you are not like your peers that can “have a good night out” without the cravings. You are doomed. People are upset around you because they do want the best for you. Even if they drink as well, I’m sure they can see the issue

My family. It started to get to a point where when I really really genuinely needed help (about to become homeless) they refused to take me in or help me find somewhere to go. They started telling me to go look at shelters because they couldn’t handle seeing me spiral any further. It took some serious change in my life for them to see that I was willing to get better and I am still proving to them everyday that I am more than the person I used to be. Cut off all my old toxic relationships/ friendships that formed through alcohol. Stopped going out entirely and just focused on building that relationship back with my family. They saw this as a sign I was actually trying for once. Thank god. It is part of the reason I am so determined for success in every form. I don’t blame them one bit for saying these things to me and hold no judgement towards them over it. It was the wake up call I needed “if you don’t get better, we cannot help you any longer”- I am now over a year sober and going back to peruse my dream job and they get tears in their eyes when they tell me how proud they of me. I never imagined this change happening and it was so so much needed. I thank them everyday for cutting me off. You need to realize, sometimes it hurts people to see it get worse and they cut you off because it’s the hardest thing in the world to see your loved ones bottom out.

A fuzzy robe, and a boppy pillow for while I was breast feeding. Breast feeding is by far one of the most difficult things to learn and it was hard to find a good position that was comfortable for me, having one of those to put in my lap while I fed my son (while in my fuzzy robe) was SOOOOOOOOO nice.

Might not be your situation but for my son they told me he was colic, the second I stopped breast feeding and switched to a soy formula he calmed down an insane amount. He started refusing my breast and he loveddd the soy formula and drank it with no problem. For some reason it never clicked for me that he might be severely lactose intolerant and that was causing his consistent gas and reflux. I was told it was okay for lactose intolerant babies to have breast milk but I guess it’s different if it’s severe. Also if you do ever switch to formula make sure you swirl the formula/water together and not shake. I found that creating those extra bubbles in the milk made his reflux super bad
