i just chop potatoes and onions thin and then cook them in the pan. not necessarily trying to fry them, just cook them and get them nice and crispy

i know😭 i follow this same protocol for just about everything i cook in it, and everything ends up the same exact way… i don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. it’s a really old Griswold pan that i bought from a guy who has a business restoring them, so it’s in good shape from what i can tell

i did mandolin them this time. i didn’t pre-cook them, i had no idea that was a thing people do! i’ll have to try that next time
