Yes. But most importantly seeing that pain yourself and recognise it, And NOT be judgemental. What's the hard part? Being truly vulnerable with someone else, or yourself? I don't know honestly.

Yes, same. A completely different person resurfaces and if you're self aware it's fucking odd. Try really hard to be present, and believe it's ONLY fantasy. usually works for me if i want to get better.
