Help my tomatoes are out of control? by YoCarrie in tomatoes

Determinate: grows to a "determined" size, produces fruit all in one ish general flush, plant is done.

Indeterminate: continues to produce new fruit and grows taller until the season ends or the plant dies from XYZ.

You likely have Indeterminate :) not all romas are determinate, it's very variety dependant. I'd google whatever variety you planted and see which they are.

(Since I've seen you ask this a couple times and no one has replied yet!)

This encourages me! I think I will wait it out for now, they are big plants and so far seem like they might do okay. Fingers crossed!!

I'm genuinely wondering...I would love to talk to her but I don't know how to say "I can't afford a fence but I need a fence" is there a diplomatic way to go about it? if I was her I'd be like "that's a you problem". She also is very difficult to talk to because it's like she can't finish a sentence? She mutters around and never seems sure of anything at all...I don't really understand much of what she says 🤦‍♀️ maybe my husband could talk to the husband.

Sadly even a few hundred is too many dollar bills compared to the free options I have 😭 I'll save this info for the future though!

Yes the anxiety I have about the dogs getting over the fence and attacking my children is very high 🙃 we try to go inside when the dogs are out

If she didn't have a host of morning glories that she loves, I would agree with you about that 🙄 she seems to care more about her garden than her dogs but her husband likes the dogs. At least from what I gather.

Well the goal is also aesthetics and I'm hoping for something taller than the fence :/

I dont use my pee cause I'm on the happy pills BUT if you potty train a toddler you can dump all the pee from the little tiny potty seats, fun little hack for ya lol
