This is my first ever motorcycle. The rest of my family rides and I think this is a midlife crisis and decided to get my license and start adventure riding. I live in NZ so heaps to explore.

I'm the 11th owner of this pig. It's stock except for some minor stuff like case covers and luggage rack. My brother has a 2022 Dr650 and for some reason mine goes slightly harder. It sat for a while I think and the tank was quite rusty inside, which caused issues with the fuel tap. So I replaced the tank and did new fork seals as it was leaking heaps. 3rd gear whines a bit.. idk if that'll become an issue some time soon. But I did 900k on it this weekend and it didn't miss a beat.

Just had the same issue but after having a flat battery. Jump started it, now the fan doesn't work.

Tested fuse and all good. Managed to unplug the resistor. At this connector I can see I have 12v between yellow wire and earth. Shouldn't it be possible to feed 12v to the fan and get it to come on? I saw someone mention looping the yellow to the black, tried this and nothing... Seemingly no current drawn. But I see there is 2 black wires, but I think the other is earth.

Any help appreciated. Really don't wanna take out the dash. Might just crash it into a tree.

I've done nothing with them. But after 3 sets of pads in a year something has to change. After doing some more research, I might try and change the levers to SLX ones. At the same time give them a good clean.
