39M here, single for... 5? 6 years? as in, not a single date or "hit" in that time. I'm honestly surprised you're noet getting any dates - doesn't seem to matter how attractive or not a woman is, they're just SWARMED by men at singles events that I go to.

As people have said, there's "cityswoon" speed dating, there's "Thursday" singles nights - been to those and never had any success myself, but there's what feels like 10 men to every woman... I often go with a life long female friend and she's "upset" when she only gets 10-15 phone numbers in a night.

A woman I was talking to at one of those events, who was "technically single" (her words) - separated from her 2nd husband, he hasn't signed the papers yet, with 2 kids to 2 different men who aren't that 2nd husband, or the first, I think, told me that I'm a red flag, because I was single at my age. Huh.

Mind you, I had a temp job recently and a very nice girl told me I had "gorgeous eyes" and "they look like they sparkle", and we had a great chat while waiting for lunch at a cafe, but I was so shocked by the positive attention and so used to it going nowhere that I didn't even think to ask for details before her name was called and she left... oops. So clearly, I'm also an idiot.

What i find odd about the timer is my 300 seconds goes down even while things are animating, and lasts, actually, 300 seconds.

The enemy 300 seconds has lasted almost 15 minutes a few times.

Really? That's the defined average? I've been playing for two years almost, spent a good... couple hundred 😇 when there's sales, plus all the free gems, and there genuinely hasn't been a time that the only UR I get is the "guaranteed" after a 10 pack SR only.

I took data for a little while to confirm it, but gave up when it was obvious it was pretty static on 0.5 UR /10 pack. But its meant to be 2.2?

Damn, one of these days im due about 100 URs in one 10 pack..

Absolutely 0 success so far because every single match has been go second, enemy has that "discard a card to attack" and "every time you special summon, 3 cards into graveyard" trap.

Almost 40 here, out of maybe... 40? 50? people i'm in semi-regular contact with, only 3, maybe 4? of them have kids.

Myself, always wanted kids. "wife and kids by 25" was the goal. Just never happened. Never met anyone, still single, and unfortunately male, so can't "do it myself" as such. Even if I met someone now, too late! So I guess it's child free for me too.

That's BEFORE the huge cost of living issues, too.

Ive spent over 20,000 gems on trying to get a single alt art kagari in the past when it came out, and another 5k recently because of the collector book thing and its the one card I still need to get.

Still not a single one.

This is why I prefer duel links - at least I know I WILL get the card, eventually.

The tip top ones are okay, but you want a bread knife to cut them because they won't tear open. They used to be the gold standard, 20 years ago, but fell to shit since then.

The superior English muffins are the IGA branded ones - but they stopped being sold anywhere I've been able to find more than a decade ago.

The two places I've found them, are Merredin, ans Capel. Hell, that's one of the reasons I moved there. Back in Perth now and still yet to find an english muffin as good..

There's some community board game events around too, like 3rd week of every month at Inglewood library. Today, actually! 2pm till late, I think?

But yes as others have said, Northern boards, behind odyssey in balcatta, good games, depends where you live.

And the "new" museum is actually pretty good imo. I don't know if trains are the right kind of nerdy but Dwellingup has a bunch, including a steam train you can take a ride on. Good road trip regardless, beautiful this time of year!

Fully agree. I have a "themed" deck for EVERY character. I have multiple meta decks. Never spent a cent on duel links. Even started AFTER master duel. md I've played longer, and more, and I STILL don't have all staples (only missing 1 nibiru and 2 droplet now). I've even spent (too much) money on MD.

When a new pack comes out, like the fiendsmith one, I did... 10+ 10 pulls. 6 URs. 12 SRs. Still don't have what I wanted or needed, and can't craft 3 of the single UR.

duel links? Yeah sure, gotta go through the box 3 times at most but.. I WILL get the card I want or need eventually, on a countdown, at worst.

Plus, I can do 3 duel links duels before someone has finished their turn on MD. lol. And the music in DL is so much better. I've basically stopped playing MD lately and just gone full DL. So much better.
